Ethereum on Moon.com — the Market, the Multiplier, the Mistake

Ethereum trades nearly as continuously as Bitcoin and typically with a wider daily range. It also responds to a second set of drivers Bitcoin does not have — network upgrades, fee dynamics, and flows tied to whatever is being built on it this year.

A wider range means the same multiplier gives you less room. If a Bitcoin bet at a given multiplier already feels tight, the identical multiplier on Ethereum is tighter, and the difference is not marginal on a volatile day.

The arithmetic is the same on every asset and it is worth restating here, because it is the thing that transfers between them: a multiplier of n means a move of roughly 1/n against you exhausts the wager. At 10x that is a ten percent move; at 100x, one percent; at 1000x, a tenth of a percent. The leverage page has a calculator that will do it for a specific wager and entry price.

The trap is treating ETH as "Bitcoin but cheaper". They are correlated, not interchangeable: on the days they diverge, they diverge fast, and a position sized from the Bitcoin habit is the one that ends first.
