The public feed and leaderboard
Moon.com shows other people's activity: open positions, results, and a ranking of top performers. It is an unusual amount of transparency for a house-banked product, and it does two useful things — it makes the volume on each market visible, and it gives the platform a social texture.
It is also the feature most likely to be misread. A leaderboard shows survivors, not averages. The people who took a 1000x position and lost do not appear on it, and no leaderboard anywhere shows the denominator.
What it is good for, and what it is not
Good for: seeing which markets actually have activity, sanity- checking that the book is live, and getting a feel for typical stake sizes.
Not good for: copying. A visible winning streak carries no information about the next bet, and on a negative-expectation product a run of wins is what survivorship looks like, not what skill looks like.
If a number on a leaderboard makes a position feel obvious, that is the moment to re-read what each bet costs.
FAQ
Can I see other players’ bets on Moon.com?
Yes — open positions and results are shown publicly, along with a leaderboard of top performers.
Should I copy the leaderboard?
No. A leaderboard shows the people who survived a run, not the average outcome, and it carries no information about the next bet.
